Acrylic Maintenance Tips

Clean your acrylic shower or tub shower regularly with a non-abrasive spray, cream- based cleansing agent or dishwashing liquid. Never use abrasive cleansers, scrapers, metal brushes, or anything that could scratch or dull the surface.

To add luster and remove fine scratches, polish regularly with Lumacream, available at all Pearl dealers. Car wax may also be used. The use of Lumashine, a special acrylic surface cleaner, is also recommended to clean, add shine and create an anti-static, dust-repellent surface. Turpentine or paint thinner may be used to remove paint strains. Use a plastic or wooden spatula covered with a moist cloth to remove plaster residue.

Use of Therapeutic Products
:
certain types of therapeutic products when added to bath water, or if applied non-diluted directly in the bath, may damage the unit finish. Test the product on a small inconspicuous surface prior to use.

Whirlpool Maintenance Tips

Clean the piping and pump once a month with Mister MAAX cleanser or dishwashing liquid (2 tablespoons). Fill the bathtub with hot water (max.104°F/40°C) to two inches (5 cm) above the jets, add the cleansing agent, and turn on the Whirlpool system for ten minutes. Empty the bathtub. Use cold water to rinse, turning the system back on for ten minutes, while keeping the air controls turned off.

Air Massage Maintenance Tips

20 minutes after the system is activated, the dry cycle automatically starts up for 30 seconds to dry the jet covers.
If you take a bath without operating the whirlpool system, or if your bathtub remains full of water for more than 10 minutes after the system has been turned off, you must turn on the blower for about 30 seconds after emptying the bathtub to dry the jet covers.
The system does not require any specific maintenance, and the shell can be cleaned much like any other bathtub.
